2. ISO has released the new ISMS standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information security, cybersecurity and privacy protection — Information security management systems — Requirements This document specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organization. This document also includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organization. The terminal date for transition is 24 October 2025. After this date all certificates of ISO 27001:2013 will be removed from KVQA website and iafcertsearch.org and stands cancelled.

3. KVQA is in the process for applying SAAS accreditation to add SA8000 under certification services. The audits shall be commenced only when accreditation is granted by SAAS.

4. KVQA is recruiting personnel, auditors and empaneled auditors in UAE to expand its business in UAE.
